Start the evening with a 6 p.m. talk by Justice Henderson, the Saint Louis Art Museum’s Romare Bearden Graduate Museum Fellow, who will be discussing Robert Duncanson and Edward Bannister, two 19th-century Black artists known for their nature landscapes. Following the talk, create your own art in our Open Studio.
These activities will take place during the Garden’s extended Thursday evening hours (5–8 p.m.; last entry at 7:30 p.m.). Reservations are not required, and entry is included with general admission to the Garden.
